Special Session at CMBEBIH 2019  Student Competition

The Student competition is a unique session which is part of the  International Conference CMBEBIH 2019, organised in cooperation with the Students Associations from Bosnia and Herzegovina with Students Association of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Sarajevo on the charge. The goal of this competition is to expand creativity, knowledge and affirmation of students. It represents a unique chance for students to compete and be rewarded for their contribution to science and research.


Participants from all levels of education can participate (Bsc, Msc, Phd), from all fields of studies.
The proof of the student status will be requested during the registration and the confirmation would presume a confirmation from the student’s faculty. All students can prepare their papers within the 17 different topics covered by the conference and submit them through the OCS Spring System. During paper submission, Student Award Competition session must be chosen in the OCS system. Only papers submitted in this session will be eligible for the competition. It is very important to use Springer’s guidelines and technical instructions, which you will be able to find on http://cmbebih2019.cmbebih2021cmbebih.com/author-guidelines/


Only full papers are eligble for the competition.


All papers will undergo a review process. Reviewers will select 10 papers to be presented in special session during the Conference. The winner will be chosen out of those 10 papers after the presentation in front of Commission.


The best paper will be awarded with a registration fee for the 15th Mediterranean Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering and Computing (MEDICON2019). MEDICON2019 will be organized in the period from 26th to 28th September 2019 in Portugal and will be hosted by the UNESCO World Heritage University, the University of Coimbra.


Important dates:

• Deadline for paper submission: 15. December 2018.
• Notification of decision: 22. January 2018.
• The Conference will be held from 16. to 18. May 2018.  in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
