The building of Banski Dvor Palace, nowadays Banski Dvor – Cultural Center in Banja Luka, was declared a cultural and historical heritage asset in 1976.
In addition to the exceptional architectural value, this monument of architectural heritage has also partly preserved the authentic inner spaces, decoration and furniture. The originally preserved interiors make an inextricable cultural, historical and aesthetic whole with the overall architectural values of the building.
Banski Dvor Today
The main activity is of multimedia nature and includes: concerts, exhibitions, monodrama performances, video projections, public discussions, lectures, literary events, as well as activities of clubs and ateliers.
The interiors of Banski Dvor are very representative, and some parts, such as the Concert Hall, the City Hall and the Grand Hall, have kept their authentic look. Special attention should be paid to the Large Concert Hall, whose appearance and acoustics in particular capture the attention of both the audience and the artists.
